About Luciana Bomeny

My journey has always been guided by a deep desire to help others.

Through decades of personal exploration and extensive training, I have developed a compassionate, mindfulness-based approach that empowers my clients to access the profound resources within their own bodies. This journey of self-discovery and healing is at the heart of all my offerings, whether through courses, meditations, or one-on-one sessions.

Drawing on a rich tapestry of practices, I guide individuals toward self-awareness and inner peace. My practice is not just about imparting knowledge but about facilitating a transformative process where clients learn to harness their inner strength and wisdom to face life’s difficulties with resilience and grace.

Meditation & Yoga have been part of my spiritual practice for over three decades.

I started practicing Transcendental Meditation in 1990 and I got initiated into Kriya Yoga through Self-Realization Fellowship in 2002 prior to practicing Mindfulness Meditation.

As far as I can remember I have always been interested in different practices and spiritual traditions that promote self-awareness and growth.

I have taught and I have offered Jyotish, Vedic Astrology consultations for over ten years as a powerful insightful tool for deepening awareness.

What has shifted over the past few years in consultations is that instead of telling people what I see, I assist them accessing their own inner wisdom and strength through meditative practices of embodied inquiry.

Testimonials:

I met Luciana when I was fortuitously assigned to her “small group” in the spring 2023 Inviting Chronic Pain and Illness to Tea (ICPIT) course.  Her gentle presence and support encouraged us to be vulnerable and honest - with ourselves and each other.  In that, she set a beautiful example with her own honesty and vulnerability.  Her courage, both in dealing with her own personal challenges and in sharing her own story with us, touched me greatly and has left a lasting impression.

Luciana, I am so grateful that I got to know you through the course, and it has been a joy to continue our relationship through Ruth Zanoni’s weekday morning Telesangha for Bodies that Squawk.  When you guide the meditation, you always seem to share something that I need to hear or learn, and it’s a joy to experience your lovely voice and the care, tenderness and compassion you convey.  You have taught me to take care of myself, honor my pain and my struggle, and to know that I deserve to be happy and loved.  You are a caring, courageous, kind and wise woman and have a wonderful way about you that always soothes my soul.   Thank you for all you do and all you are!

Luciana Bomeny brings a depth of wise maturity and harmonizing experience to create a supportive space that creates a warm and  pervasive sense of safety.  All this to lead us forward as she expertly guides us towards a compassionate experience of ourselves, through her compassionate guidance style which is thorough, steady, and powerful.  The skill and warmth of this is transformative, and I can say that working with her guided meditations has been a deeply healing and transformative process –one which I did not expect, but most gratefully receive.

I want to express my gratitude for the guidance and help I received in working with Luciana as a meditation teacher, guide and mentor.

Her sessions were always very relaxing, thoughtful, insightful and with a gentle acceptance of people.

I especially appreciated her generous interest in helping me develop and grow my own mindfulness meditation practice and lifestyle.

I have had the privilege of learning Mindfulness Meditation from Luciana. Having meditated for most of my life, I can say that I have experienced some of my deepest meditations under her guidance and teaching. Her knowledge and understanding of mindfulness meditation helps you achieve a state of stillness and inner peace when you practice the techniques taught by her.  Luciana is a patient, compassionate and dedicated teacher, and a gifted healer. She has helped me get in touch with my body and successfully resolve traumas I carried from childhood. I am grateful for her guidance and support in helping me cultivate mindfulness, reduce stress, and live more fully in the present moment. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking to enhance their well-being through mindfulness meditation and trauma resolution.

Meditations with Luciana are on various themes that I can easily relate to.  As I listen, I feel a sense of healing.  I use these concepts, along with her innate wisdom, to feel better off the mat as well!
